Established in 2026, Romantic Roots is a romantic bookstore, magical gift shop, and fantasy floral design studio catering to romantic hearts. Created as a space for community, creativity, education, and imagination in the heart of Olympia, Washington. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, we believe meaningful moments grow best when they’re nurtured with intention, warmth, and care.
From author events and themed gatherings to cozy conversations and creative experiences, Romantic Roots is built around connection. We believe spaces matter, and we’ve intentionally created an environment where readers, creatives, dreamers, and romantics alike can feel inspired and welcomed.
Whether you’re attending an event, discovering a new favorite book, finding the perfect gift, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, Romantic Roots exists to bring people together through imagination, beauty, and shared experience.
Our shelves are thoughtfully filled with fantasy literature, romance novels, plants, fresh florals, gifts, artisan goods, cozy home accents, games, stationery, handmade items, and carefully curated treasures designed to spark curiosity and connection. Every piece within Romantic Roots is selected with intention to create a space that feels immersive, welcoming, and inspiring to explore.
We believe storytelling, creativity, and beauty can transform everyday moments into meaningful experiences, and we’ve built Romantic Roots to feel like a place where discovery happens naturally.
At Romantic Roots, we build experiences designed to create lasting memories and genuine connection. From themed tea parties and author signings to community nights and immersive gatherings, our events celebrate creativity, storytelling, and togetherness in a way that feels both magical and welcoming.
We’re proud to continue building a growing creative community here in Olympia, one meaningful experience at a time.
